Microsoft is now ready to run android apps on Windows 10 with the all-new Your Phone update. This new update will allow Your Phone to run Android apps simultaneously with Windows native app. In the future, you can run Android apps alongside other PC apps in a separate window outside of Your Phone app.

This new update builds upon the mirroring that Microsoft's Your Phone app already provides.

These Apps will supports:

  • Support multitask with the "alt+tab" that other Windows native supports.
  • Users can pin those android apps to Task Bar and Start Menu if they want to increase their speed of workflow.
  • Can launch directly from Your Phone, no longer search around on a mirrored experience of Your Phone, can simply run apps as their regular Windows apps.
  • Your Phone can run multiple android apps side by side.

Disadvantage:

  • Not all android apps of Your Phone is supporting this feature. Some can block the ability to cast to other screens, producing a black screen instead.
